Windstorm Make-Up Days 2015

Mead schools were closed for three days during the recent windstorm weather event. Make-up days for two of the three days will be Friday, March 11 and Friday, June 17. Both of those days are designated in the 2015-2016 Mead School District Calendar as "make-up" days. Read more . . .

Lost & Found

This year we are going to stay on top of our Lost-and-Found. It will be gone through weekly, checking for names on items which then can be returned to their rightful owners. Then, the last Friday of each month all of the Lost-and-Found will be bagged up and sent off site. Please make sure your student check regularly if they have misplaced items.

Sports Fee Reminder

Reminder: Mead School District requires a once-a-year sports fee payment of $20 for students who want to participate in school sports. Students who qualify for reduced lunch prices pay $10 per year and students who qualify for free lunch will have their sports fee waived. Students will need to consult with their parents to determine the amount of their sports fee.

Voters Approve Bond & Levy

A big THANK YOU to the Mead community for their support! Preliminary results have both February 10 ballot measures receiving voter approval. The Levy received nearly 69% voter approval and the Bond 63.5%. The Spokane County Elections Office will certify election results on February 24, 2015.
